Wednesday, November 23, was the day of the BPL’s player draft at an elite hotel in Dhaka. The 2023 BPL will have seven franchises. The BPL Cricket Season 9 will begin on January 6

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced yesterday the schedule of the ninth season of the BPL Cricket T20 tournament, which will begin on January 6. Comilla Victorians will play Rangpur Riders in the day’s second match, while Chattogram Challengers will play Sylhet Sixers in the opening match.

There will be a reserve day for the final game at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on February 16. Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet will host the tournament. Dhaka will host the first eight games, followed by Chattogram; here, the match will play the next 12 games.

As soon as four games have been played in Dhaka, the BPL Cricket will move to Sylhet for the remaining eight. Dhaka will play host to the final round of the seven-team tournament.
