Having won three games in a row, Sylhet Strikers have now completed a hat-trick of victories. Their first game was against the Challengers, their second game was against Fortune Barishal, and today they have defeated the Victorians comfortably. First to bowl, the Strikers managed to pick up three wickets in the first six overs of their innings. While the Strikers managed to restrict the Victorians to 149 runs, they had a few partnerships between their batters.
The Strikers lost an early wicket to Haris in reply, but managed a decent partnership with Shanto and Hridoy. Towhid Hridoy put the Strikers in the driver’s seat with his excellent knock, mixing caution with aggression, while Shanto couldn’t capitalize on his opening start. As Rahim brought the Strikers home with over two overs to spare, he made his experience count.
