Ireland won by five runs. It is an unbelievable result; not only is it an upset, but this victory from Ireland opens up this entire group. This World Cup encounter brings out the best in Ireland. After a positive start against the England pacers, Balbirnie and Co lost their way towards the end, but they were able to get a par total.
The openers were all dismissed in Joshua Little’s first two overs, while Stokes was removed by Fionn Hand. It was hard for Malan and Brook to keep up with the pace, which left Moeen with too much time; before the rain arrived, he delivered some meaty blows. The game could not be restarted since there were a few delays before the game started.
Jos Buttler would like to bowl. Jos Buttler wants to bowl first; the weather is a bit uncertain. There are many extensive grounds in Australia, so fielding is essential to the preparation process. As for the chase, Ireland’s captain Andy Balbirnie, on the other hand, is optimistic about getting the ball in the ground quickly because of the rain. Andy Balbirnie is trying to create some special memories for our team’s fans by supporting the opposition team’s plans during this game.

Andrew Balbirnie(c):
Our finish was a little disappointing, as we lost seven wickets for not much, and they stole our momentum. Taking every chance was our message since we know how England likes to play. If we took every opportunity, we would be in with a chance. We rode our luck, took a few blows and continued, but it wasn’t easy; they (England) have some express pace and variations.

Jos Buttler(c):
Our performance was poor, and we allowed Ireland to get away with it. Our consistency wasn’t good enough to allow them to score on both sides, and there were some favorable conditions for bowling. Everything was in our favor; we won the toss and elected to field, but we didn’t capitalize on it. As a result of allowing Ireland to score too many runs in the first ten overs, we were under pressure to restrict them in the second 10. This wicket was demonstrated to us by them. We never managed to grab the initiative after getting out in the first over. The bowlers used the wicket well and bowled well. Despite the rain, we won the toss and chose to bowl, knowing what to do with the bat, and again, as I said, we won the toss. They outplayed our team on all three fronts, and the better team won.
